Mana Kidz
Papakura Marae provides a sore throat clinic at 11 schools in Papakura and Manurewa. Hauora Navigators are in the schools every day identifying and assessing tamariki as we work towards rheumatic fever prevention. This is led by the National Hauora Coalition in partnership with the Public Health Nurses. We have agreed to work together through identifying and then treating children with Group A Streptococcus.

Our Mana Tiaki Navigators support whaanau to fulfill their potential, achieve their aspirations and model intergenerational success.

The Family Start programme is a Family and Community Services initiative that enables families with young children to access a comprehensive range of welfare, health, education and other services they may need.
Family Start provides intensive, home-based support services for families with high needs, to ensure that their children have the best possible start in life.

Papakura Marae Social Service aim to provide Community Social Work utilizing Services and Specialists to support the needs of Whanau / Individual stressors in a Professional and highly confidential capacity.
Oranga Ki Tua
This free mobile community service is offered to Maaori and Non-Maaori with socio- economic disadvantage aged 15+ years residing within Manurewa or Manukau Localities of the Counties Manukau Health catchment area.
